পত্রিকা সম্পর্কে

উত্তরাধিকার বাংলা একাডেমির সৃষ্টিশীল সাহিত্যপত্র। এটি ১৯৭৩ সালে প্রথম প্রকাশিত হয়। দশ বছর মাসিক পত্রিকা হিসেবে চালু থাকলেও ১৯৮৩ সাল থেকে ত্রৈমাসিকে রূপান্তরিত হয় । ২০০৯ সালের জুলাই থেকে মাসিক পত্রিকা হিসেবে প্রতি মাসে  নিয়মিতভাবে প্রকাশিত হয়। পরে আবার ত্রৈমাসিকে রূপান্তরিত হয়। বর্তমানে বছরে পত্রিকাটির ৪টি সংখ্যা প্রকাশিত হচ্ছে। প্রবন্ধ, গল্প, কবিতা, আত্মজীবনী, স্মৃতিকথা, বিদেশি সাহিত্যের অনুবাদের পাশাপাশি চলচ্চিত্র, থিয়েটার, বিজ্ঞান, দর্শন, সাংবাদিকতা, চিত্রকলাসহ নানা বিষয়ে মুদ্রিত হচ্ছে সৃজনশীল রচনা। এতে দেশের খ্যাতিমান প্রবীণ-নবীন লেখকরা নিয়মিত লিখছেন। পত্রিকাটির সম্পাদক হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন বাংলা একাডেমির মহাপরিচালক।

Legacy is the creative literary magazine of Bangla Academy. It was first published in 1973. It was published as a monthly magazine for ten years, but was converted to a quarterly magazine in 1983. It has been published regularly as a monthly magazine since July 2009. Later, it was converted to a quarterly magazine again. Currently, the magazine publishes 4 issues a year. In addition to articles, stories, poems, autobiographies, memoirs, translations of foreign literature, creative works on various subjects including film, theater, science, philosophy, journalism, and painting are being published. Renowned veteran and young writers of the country regularly write in it. The Director General of Bangla Academy serves as the editor of the magazine.
